Madison County is one of the fastest growing counties in the state.  As Judge Executive, my team and I work tirelessly to make Madison County the best community for residents and visitors alike. Located on I-75, Madison County is the home to two major metropolitan areas of Richmond and Berea, as well as Eastern Kentucky University and Berea College. We are home to the Bluegrass Army Depot, one of the country’s leading military bases.  In addition, we have companies ranging from entrepreneurial business operations like Mad Scoops and Purdy’s Coffee Co. to national corporations like Sherwin Williams, Okonite, Lectrodryer, and our newest business AppHarvest.

Surrounded by the Kentucky River, we offer a variety of recreational options from fishing, hiking, camping, and boating.  We also proudly serve as the homes of instrumental founders of our country including Daniel Boone and Cassius Clay.
