The Madison County Child Support Enforcement Office has a number of functions, including but not limited to establishing paternity for children born out of wedlock, establishing child support and medical support orders, seeking enforcement of those orders and locating absent parents. There are approximately 4,500 active cases. In 2006 alone, over nearly 3.5 million dollars of support was collected on behalf of our children.
