Madison County Fiscal Court along with the entire Madison County Community join together to offer our sincerest condolences to the entire Combs Family for the loss of Sheriff Jerry Combs. We also extended our deepest sympathy to the entire Madison County Sheriff's Department and the many individuals that were touched by Sheriff Combs.
Sheriff Jerry R. Combs was a lifelong resident of Madison County and was born & raised in Southern Madison County near the City of Berea. He is one of six children and was born to parents Elvin & Betty Combs. Sheriff Combs as a young man attended Madison Central High School and then Eastern Kentucky University. In his off time,

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has undertaken the preliminary design and environmental study for a new link between Jessamine and Madison Counties, commonly referred to as the I-75 Connector. People who live or work in and around Jessamine and Madison Counties can provide valuable input that is important to creating the best possible project. For that reason, KYTC encourages the public to stay informed and engaged in the project as this project moves forward.
