Mike Coyle Appointed as Madison County Sheriff
I am pleased to announce the permanent appointment of Mike Coyle to the office of Madison County Sheriff. I was approached by several individuals about the position but Mike was the clear choice.
Mike worked side by side along with Jerry Combs during the entire campaign for Sheriff. Jerry elected to choose Mike as his chief deputy and confidant, trusting him to manage the Office of Sheriff during Jerry’s operation and recovery.
Mike has a great working relationship with the entire staff and the residents of Madison County. He was involved in every aspect of the sheriff’s budget, working with Jerry and myself.
We are fortunate to have an individual of Mike’s character, respect and experience to serve out the term of Sheriff Combs. I know Mike can carry on the great work that Jerry started.
I wish Mike the very best as Sheriff of Madison County and look forward to working with him in the future.
