Madison County Fire
Our Mission is to provide fire protection and prevention services to the citizens of Madison County, Kentucky . All of this is done by creating pre-plans for each facility in Madison County, Public Education on Fire Safety. The Madison County Fire Department is a combination career and volunteer department providing full fire protection from eight strategically located fire stations. The Fire Department consists of 20 uniformed career firefighters and 60 volunteers.
The Madison County Fire Department is also participates in Madison County's Safety City Program! Safety City is a Risk Watch Injury Prevention Program. This "City" teaches our community vital training on CSEPP Shelter in place, Motor Vehicle Safety, Fire and Burn Prevention, Chocking, Suffocation, Strangulation Prevention, Poison Prevention, Farm Safety, Railroad Safety, Falls Prevention, Firearms Injury Prevention, Bike and Pedestrian Safety, along with Water Safety.
Our facility allows for school aged children to see accidents as close to real life as possible, giving students a life like feel on what to do in an emergency and how to prevent one. Safety City is under the operation of Madison County Fiscal Court. The facility can be toured by appointment!
